Nick Mailloux is a postdoctoral research associate whose work focuses on quantifying the air quality and health benefits of the transition to a clean energy economy in the United States. He received his PhD in Environment and Resources from UW–Madison and holds a graduate certificate in energy analysis and policy. He has published research on the health benefits of climate solutions and the air quality–related health benefits of eliminating energy-related emissions in the United States. He previously worked as a climate research and engagement specialist in the Climate & Energy Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. He earned his undergraduate degree in Global Environmental Change and Sustainability from Johns Hopkins University.
