Nick Mailloux is a PhD student in the Environment and Resources Program in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. He holds a graduate certificate in energy analysis and policy and was a 2021-2022 Planetary Health Graduate Scholar in the Global Health Institute. His work focuses on quantifying the air quality health benefits of the transition to a clean energy economy in the United States. He has published research on the health benefits of climate solutions and the air quality–related health benefits of eliminating energy-related emissions in the United States. Mailloux previously worked as a climate research and engagement specialist in the Climate & Energy Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. He earned his undergraduate degree in global environmental change and sustainability from Johns Hopkins University.
