Dr. Valerie Stull (she, her, hers) is an interdisciplinary environmental health scientist whose international work focuses on sustainable food systems and the intersection of agriculture, climate change, and human health. She is a research scientist in the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment and a faculty associate in the Department of Community and Environmental Sociology at UW-Madison.

Valerie is currently engaged in mixed methods research exploring alternative protein production, the use of insects to remediate food and other waste streams, soil health, social and environmental benefits of regenerative agriculture systems, the impacts of low-carbon infrastructure, as well as other topics related to planetary health.
